DAILY DEPARTURE
AUSANGATE TREK 7D/ 6N CLASSICAL AND PRIVATE SERVICE
The best trekking combination in South America with a challenging 6 day circuit around the massive
Mount Ausangate (6,372m - 20,905ft ), the highest peak in the Cusco region. It is excellent trekking country offering the traveler everything that one might look for in
Andean discoveries. Amazing mountain, snow-capped peaks, hot springs, wildlife, colorful lakes, rich bird life, and traditionally Andean dressed people we meet. Our route to Ausangate is a little touched by tourism, and is not a frequently visited area. We’ll feel like the mountains are all our own as we enter a narrow valley surrounded by towering snow clad peaks and hike past multicolor lakes. We’ll see vicuña, herds of llamas and alpacas. We’ll also observe condors, vizcacha (chichinela) other wildlife before finishing our circle near a hot spring.
