 EXPLORE CUSCO & MACHU PICCHU / PUNO

 

Day 01:Transfer from Airport to hotel and in the afternoon  City Tour.

Cusco is a true experience. Explore the ancient Indian sanctuary of SACSAYHUAMAN, The Amphitheatre of QENQO, the fortress of PUKA PUKARA , also the CITY`S CATHEDRAL with magnificent colonial art and the KORIKANCHA which displays the best Inca stonework in Cusco.

Private tours can emphasize colonial art and history or Inca archeology. We can organize a city tour of Cusco only and separate Sacsayhuaman archeology. Park including other sites of interest

02:The Sacred Valley of The Incas

Today you'll take a full day private excursion to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Departing from your hotel at about 8:30am you'll take a bus out to the picturesque traditional Indian market at Pisac. On markets days locals from the small Quechua communities in the mountains surrounding Pisac come down to the village square to sell and trade their produce. This market has remained unchanged for hundreds of years and the women still wear their traditional colorful costumes and hats. In addition to the traditional fruit and vegetable market, a much larger, and just as colorful, handicraft market also takes place selling locally made items such as pottery, hand-painted ceramic beads, antiques and bright weavings and ponchos as well as soft alpaca sweaters. A buffet lunch om the way to Ollanta, afternoon you'll take a guided tour of the spectacular Inca ruins at Ollantaytambo.  

Typical Markets: Pisaq

( one choice per day only)

Colorful morning markets where you can purchase Peruvian Weavings   jewelry, and pottery, also see its traditional Indian market where good are traded; an introductory view of the local diet.

Visit of Pisaq are on Sundays, Tuesday and Thursdays.

Ollantaytambo 

 (Combines with tour of Pisaq or Ollantaytambo)

fine masonry and traditional city planning of de Inka times almost entirely intact. The tour includes visit of de village, terraces irrigation systems, granaries, the fortress and the temple of the Sun.

Day 03: OLLANTAYTAMBO/ MACHUPICCHU,& CUSCO

ick up 5:30AM transfer to Train station, train ride for 4hours to town Aguas Calientes and hotel Machu Picchu inn. Buss to Machu Picchu; Tour Guided tour of the ruins about 2 1/2hours and time to climb the mountain of Hayna Picchu that overlooks the ruins. Return to Aguas Calientes, Lunch train back to Cusco. Arrive Cusco at 8:45pm.

Tour includes:

-          Transfer hotel – Train station – hotel. 

-          Transportation train Ollantaytambo / Machu Picchu / Cusco

-          Buss Aguas Calientes –Machupicchu - Aguas Calientes.

-          All entrance fee.

Day 04: Cusco -  Puno

Cusco- Puno by Buss,Live  Cusco  at 1:30 PM.  Arrive in Puno  by 7: 30 PM, Puno Hotel***,Over night  in Taquuile island

Today you'll take bus From Cusco to Puno where you’ll  be able to rest and enjoy the beautiful Andean scenery as.  on the highest Lake Titicaca of the world. The bus takes  6 hours  to Puno and comfortable  bus ride, You hopefully  arrive in Puno by  evening  and  you take taxi  to your hotel to settle in. Puno is widely known as Peru's Folklore capital with a vast array of handicrafts, festivals and costumes and a rich tradition of music and dance flatus etc. Overnight in Puno.    

 

Day 05 The Islands of Lake Titicaca - Uros & Amantani

 The first of a 2 day tour of the main islands of Lake Titicaca. After the breakfast  In the morning  pick up from your hotel and taken to the port of Puno. By motor launch you'll enjoy the beauty of Lake Titicaca, accompanied by a local guide,   stopping first at one of the extraordinary floating islands of the Uros Indians - made only from totora reeds. People are still farming on  the Floating island. After couple  hours  boat ride you'll reach  in Amantani Island  and then you will stay with native family .  Father Earth (pachatayta)   and also to enjoy the magnificent sunset over the Lake Titicaca . An evening meal  will be prepared by the hoses  family. In the evening the group will meet.  up in the village bar and  listening to a small band of young musicians play authentic music. This is a great opportunity to experience the real culture of the Andes and being with them participate in some local dancing 

Tour includes:

Breakfast, 2 day excursion to visit the islands of Uros, Amantani and Taquile (you will  enjoy you  privet tour  .Transfer from hotel to port, boat trip to islands accompanied by an English-speaking local guide lunch and evening meal with local designated family, basic accommodation with a family on Amantani Island.      

Day 06 Taquile Island and return to Puno

Today It is a short boat ride to  island of Taquile, where you’ll visit the main village plaza and tour it's pre-Inca ruins. After lunch you'll return to Puno.

Tour includes:

Breakfast with local family, boat trip Amantani - Taquile - Puno .Transfer from port to hotel in Puno, Comfortable hotel accommodation (*** star) with private bathroom in Puno.

Day 07 Fly Julica Lima  and Home

breakfastin the morning bus to Julica airport 30 min,fly to Lima, then Home in the afternoon.
