n these parts of Peru, people still keep their own religion, culture, and customs from the Inca times. You will have chances to see the traditional life and enjoy life with them, which they are still living the Inca’s way (Mita, Minka, Ainy) (Social work, Community work and Reciprocity).
From Ollantataytambo to Pata Cancha or Puerto de Yana Mayo, passing Andean communities. Willoq, Pata Cancha and finally Quelquanka. We will stop to see
the association of weavers “Qoriawaq”, Warmicuna. Here we can appreciate the marvelous art of textiles which they practice. Then we can see all the different garments they make, such stupendous colorful llicllas, ponchos with the beautiful pallays and warm chuyllos and chunpis, among other things. To make one of these garments can take weeks or months, however this is not the only work they must do; they also have to attend to their homes and animals, as well as help their husbands with agricultural work. ITINERARY
LARES / MACHU PICCHU 04 days / 03 nights
DAY 1: CUSCO - CALCA - AGUAS TERMALES LARES - WACAWASI
We leave from Cusco early in the morning by bus and travel through the Sacred
Valley arriving to aguas termales Lares and spend the morning in the medicinal
hot springs, after lunch we have two hours of trek to our campsite. DAY 2: WACAWASI -
EPSAYCOCHA
After continuing up through the valley, we arrive to the community of Huacawasi.
People here produce some of the finest weavings in Peru. Here, we can observe
their great skills and brilliant techniques in the fabrication of ponchos and
other garments. Passing the village we begin climbing up to Condor Pass, the
second of the trip at 4300m.. From here, we catch a stunning view of the
renowned Mount Veronica (5750m.) Descending gently for about one hour, we come
to the beautiful Epsaycocha Lake, our last campsite. DAY 3: EPSAYCOCHA - PATACANCHA - WYLLOQ - PUMAMARKA
- OLLANTAYTAMBO - AGUAS CALIENTES
Today our trail leads downhill to an overlook facing a wide valley. Descending
into the valley, we eventually arrive to the community of Huylloc where we have
lunch, from here takes two hours to arrive to Pumamarka and enjoy the inca
terraces, finally we arrive to Ollantaytambo. Situated in a fertile river valley
and sheltered by mammoth mountains, this ancient Inca village is considered one
of the most important living museums in the world. This is a perfect place to
appreciate the vast archeological remains and a wide variety of flowers and
birds species. The group takes the train at 2:50 pm from Ollantaytambo to Aguas
Calientes and spends the night there in a comfortable hotel DAY 4: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU- CUSCO
After an early breakfast, we'll take the bus to Machupicchu, we register and
start on our 3 hour guided visit. After enjoying the remains, we will take the
bus down to Aguas Calientes where you will have free time to enjoy the town and
have a lunch before we return to Cusco.

ITINERARY
Day 01 Cusco - Ollantaytambo to Quellqanka
Pick up from hotel early in the morning then drive to either Pata Cancha or
Puerto Quellqanka. It will take about 3 hours, Passing different Andean
communities. Willoq, Pata Cancha and finally Quellqanka. We will stop to see
the association of weavers, “Qori awaq”, Warmicuna. Here we can appreciate the
marvelous art of textiles which they practice. Then we can see all the different
garments they make, such stupendous colorful llicllas, ponchos with the
beautiful pallays, warm chuyllos, and chunpis, among other things. To make one
of these garments can take weeks or months, however this is not the only work
they must do; they also have to attend to their homes and animals.
We will then go to (Puerto Quellqanka 4,380m), where our horsemen and horses
will wait for us, Then it’s slow walk down hill for two hours to the Andean
community (Quellqanka) 3,870m, which is the camp site. On the way down you will
really appreciate beautiful and nice scenery.
In these places we will have a chance to visit the Andean families and school.
Day 02. Quellqanka – Ccochayoc
Breakfast early in the morning, we start up the hill to Yanaccocha which is the
second pass at 4,300m. It takes 3 hrs, to get there. We will stop on the way at
Yoraccocha (white-lake). If we have a change we will fish. We will appreciate
the variety of ecological potatoes and other types of vegetables. The native
people are still growing organic vegetables. Then down hill for 4 hours. Total
hiking 6 km. You will enjoy spectacular mountains with ichu or crass. This
mountain is really unforgettable. Finally we will be at the camp site, Ccochayoc.
Day 03. Ccochayoc Community – Ccachin
Up at 6am. and after breakfast we walk between Andean farms and bush for 3 hours
until lunch
(Muticancha).
After that we need to walk 2 hours more to the trail camp site. It is very
gentle hiking by vegetation, and very enjoyable because there are not many
tours. We will see a lot of birds, like Andean goose, Humming birds, Mount
tanagers and Andean Dynamo etc. Ccachin is an Andean community a 3,400m. We will
stay with the native people also we can visit their houses. We will also see
very interesting prey Inca sites.
Day 04. Ccachin – Lares – Ollantaytambo (“Ollanta”)
Early breakfast in the morning and continue our hiking for 3 hours, walking by
the valleys, bush and a lot of vegetation until our lunch place, Pachahuala.
After lunch there is another 3 hours hiking by the canyons, rivers and bush.
Finally we will arrive at Lares village, 3000m, It is really beautiful and an
amazing bath with hot springs, for a couple hrs. Finally after bath, Bus ride to
Sacred Valley, one of most beautiful places to rest. Ollantaytambo is an Inca
town. Hotel and dinner.
Day 05. Ollanta – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Early in the morning 5:30 a.m. to the train station. You will ride the train for
1 1/2 hours with the beauty along the way to Aguas Calientes, from here bus to
Machu Picchu. You will have a tour for 2 3 hours. Later you can climb to the
famous mountain of Wayna Picchu. Then afternoon down to Aguas Calientes to take
the train back to Cusco.
In Cusco transfer to your Hotel.
